ADARIO, AUG. 11 -- It is with sadness the death of S.P. Hunter, one of Butler township's esteemed citizens, is noted.  His death occurred Thursday night caused by paralysis of the brain.  But a few short weeks ago he was well having taught the summer school at this place, but the places that knew him once will know him no more forever, but long will he be cherished in memory's chain of his loved ones and friends who were many.

He leaves a wife and six children who have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction.  May he who tempers the wind to the shorn lamb comfort the widow and fatherless in their dark hour of trial.

An aged mother with five sisters and two brothers also mourn the loss of a loved one.  The funeral occurred Saturday at Rome and was largely attended and was conducted by Rev. Smead of Savannah.
